Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Here's where we answer the questions we get most often in our support inbox.

are you ready to become a good sign co expert?

Here's what most people want to know:

How long does it take to get started?

How quickly you're able to get your shop set-up and start selling custom wood signs depends on a variety of factors.

On average, most of our active members can get their initial stores set-up within 1-2 weeks, and sales coming into those stores within 1-2 months.

How long from the time of order until we've shipped your sign(s)?

Our Service Level Agreement is 2-4 weeks (not including weekends or holidays in North America).

Is there a way to rush an order?

Unfortunately, to keep our production processes operating at a level where we're able to support up to 200 small business owners, we are not able to offer rush production at this time.

If you'd like to pay for rush shipping, however, you are able to do so when you check out.

In addition, we do offer select "Quick Ship" items which can ship in 72 business hours provided your finalized artwork is uploaded with your order.

Will you make "truly custom" or "one of" signs?

For productivity purposes inside of our workshops, we restrict our product inventory to the best-selling product types in the custom wood sign and personalized gift market.

At this time, we do not offer "truly custom" or "one of" sign manufacturing unless you'd like to pay an initial, ONE-TIME PER DESIGN customization and set-up fee, or you'd like to place a bulk order of 25 finished pieces or more.

Are there signs you won't make?

Absolutely! The name of our company is "The Good Sign Co.".

We chose this name specifically because it's our mission to spread kindness and joy through handmade, heartfelt personalized gifts and decor.

As a result, it should make sense that we won't produce any sign that:

  • is intentionally designed to hurt someone,
  • is racist, misogynist, homophobic, xenophobic, ableist, trans-exclusive, or generally cruel or bigoted in nature
  • is trademarked or copyrighted to someone other than you, and you haven't been given permission to resell / reproduce the design(s)

Yes, that means we won't print anything remotely resembling Disney, Pixar, Pokemon, etc.

How do I check in to see where my order is in the queue?

You can see where your orders are in our production stream by logging in and navigating to the order status page.

Each order will have individual statuses assigned as each order is completed in the order it is received.
